According to the Greek mythology, Ariadne was the beautiful daughter of Minos, the King of Knossos. Theseus, the son of Aegean, the King of Athens, arrived at the palace of Knossos with Athenians, 7 young boys, and 7 young girls. They were the Athenian's deferment tax to Minos, and they were going to be eaten by the Minotaur. Minotaur was living, locked in the Labyrinth. Theseus was determined to release the Athenians from the deferment tax to Minos, by killing the Minotaur, in the Labyrinth. Labyrinth was a very complicated building and if he was getting inside he could never get out. The beautiful princess Ariadne gave Theseus a tusk of the thread, and with a yarn guide Theseus entered the Labyrinth, killed the Minotaur, and went out.
